About Tom Gilligan
I retired in early 2019. My wife, Anne, and I live in Natick, Massachusetts, which is 15 miles west of Boston.
Art and Photography are passions of mine, although I have discovered them late in life.
During the Pandemic, I began making Art using Pastels and eventually started working with weathered wood. I love the wood foundation because of the texture that shows through and the composition surprises that arise when combined with pastels.
I enjoy creating images that are meaningful to me and have a story behind them or are symbolic in some way. I know that I have hit the mark if my Art comes from a deeply personal place AND it resonates with others.
